Right now Target is offering a $10 gift card to you if you spend $50 or more in store.  Go here to print coupon.  The coupon expires 12/8 so you only have till Saturday to get the gift card.  Quantities are limited, so print it quickly!  If you are still Christmas shopping, this can help your pocketbook a little!  And ever little bit helps this time of year!

Target Summer Toy Clearance: eyes open for this Thursday to go 70% off

Target has two really big toy clearances in a year.  One results in 70% off lots of different toys in February (clearing out of extra Christmas stock) and 70% off in July (to make room for new stock in time for Christmas).  I am guessing (and past Target history) shows this Thursday should be the day it goes (most, maybe not all) 70% off.  So you might want to check them out this Thursday (Thursday's are the mark down day for toys) to see what you can score (great way to save $ for birthday presents and Christmas presents). 


**UPDATE 7/12: No go this week on majority of clearance going 70% off.  I am guessing it will be next week.

Target to clearance Kindle's starting tomorrow

According to varied sources around the web and MSN.com (see here and here and here for sources), Target has decided to no longer carry Amazon's line of Kindles and instead focus on Apple's products.  You can bet that the beginning markdown will be no more than 30%.  At 30% off its still a good deal, but if people don't buy these up at 30% off, it will be an even sweeter deal at 50% off!  But if you are in the market for a Kindle tomorrow may be a good day to pick one up less than its normal retail value!

Free Photos at Target this week

Target has a couple of coupons you can print from their site that will get you free photos.  They have their 4"x6" photos on sale this week for $.10 and on their site there is a $1/10 making 10 photos free!  They also have a coupon for a free 8"x10". Go here to print your coupons. (if you haven't printed from them before, you do have to download a coupon printer, but I have never had any trouble from it).  And HERE is the link to their ad showing the $.10 prints. 

Earth Day deals

Yes, yes, I know it has been a while, (a long while! and I do apologize) but let's give this a shot, shall we?

Target goes 70% off of clearance toys!

 Yes, Folks!  It's that time of year again!  Target's big bi-annual toy clearance!  This is the biggest of the two clearance sales since it has the leftover stock from Christmas.  The one difference this year is that Target has taken to marking down to 70, instead of 75% off, but still not a bad deal! The LEGOs didn't go 70% off yet, they are at 50% off, so if you didn't find what you were looking for in LEGOs at Walmart, you might check Target.  Sometimes some LEGOs will make it to 75% off but not all will. They have Polly Pocket stuff, Moxie Doll stuff, Baby Dolls, Squinkies, Cars 2 stuff, Hot Wheels stuff, and so much more!  But I wouldn't wait too long to go, this stuff goes quickly at these prices!  MLK (Gateway) Target was still marking theirs down when I left so they still had a good bit left, so you might try there first.  (If you live here, that is!) The LEGO items in the picture were only 50% off, the rest was 70% off-I picked up the Star Wars LEGO Advent Calendar at 50% off because those are hard to find past 50% off.  And the Minifigs will make great presents in treat bags! (They were $1.50)

Target's hidden deal: Harry Potter Lego bags (reg. 3.99) now .39

If your kiddo likes Legos or you need great little presents for treat bags, these are perfectly priced!  Check near the registers at Target for the Harry Potter bagged Legos.  Its the small bag of Legos but for .39, you can't go wrong!  The Pinellas Park Target showed several in stock.  This is part of the 90% off Christmas that hit yesterday (sorry I didn't post it yesterday but I really didn't get online much) and these are not marked and they aren't back with the rest of the Christmas items.  They don't have any Christmasy packaging on them, but they were used as stocking stuffers, thus the 90% off.  There are also bags of Kingdoms, but I don't see any listed in stock at any of the local Targets.  But if you want to check stock for elsewhere, I have provided the links below to check stock with. Two awesome deals at Target this Sunday-32" TV for $197, 11.6" Notebook for $197

Target is getting in on the super sale deal leading up to the big Retail day of Black Friday.  There first "Super Sale" is this Sunday and they are offering both the Westinghouse VR3215 32" 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV and Acer A0722-0473 11.6" Notebook on sale for $197.  I am sure both of these will go fast so you might want to be there when they open at 8 am on Sunday if you plan on getting one.

Target has Halloween items for 50% off

Went to Target this morning and they have already marked down the decorations, gifts, costumes, etc. to 50% off.  Candy is still at 30% off but I have heard that Walmart has their candy marked at 50% in off (in case any one actually needs more candy!)  I picked up the Lego grab bags (one is Star Wars and the other is a helicopter) for half off-$2 each.  Also picked up a few other items that were good deals.  If you have any Softsoap, Bounty or Colgate coupons, you might go and check it out because they have their Halloween themed paper towels, hand soap and toothpaste for half off too!

Target has 4x6 photo prints for $.10 each, which brings their total to $2.  Target has a $2 off photo coupon on their site right now that you can print and take with you to the store when you print your photos, making them free!

Disney's releases $5 off coupon for both Lion King and Beauty and the Beast on 3D/Blu-ray/DVD

Disney has released a $5 off coupon for its upcoming release of Lion King and Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray/DVD/3-D combo on 10/4. You do have to be a Disney Movie Reward member, which is free to join. Here is the link for the Lion King coupon. Here is the link to the Beauty and the Beast coupon.  The Lion King coupon is also good for the Trilogy set, which includes Lion King 1, 1 1/2, and 2, and has 8 total discs.   Target has a coupon on their site that you can print to use for Beauty and the Beast, so combining both Disney's coupon and Target's coupon will get you the movie $10 cheaper at Target.  Go here to get your Target coupon.  Here are the prices that I know so far for both movies:

Disney's Dumbo re-releases on DVD/BR next Tuesday, $5 off coupon

Disney has released a $5 off Dumbo Blu-ray/DVD combo pack in time for Dumbo's re-release (but now on Blu-ray) next Tuesday the 20th.  Go here to print the coupon. (You have to be a Disney Movie Rewards Member but its free to join.)  They also have a $5 off coupon for Spooky Buddies HERE which also comes out next Tuesday the 20th.  Target seems to have the best deal for buying both.  If you buy both (each are $22.99) you get an additional $8 off, plus the $10 total in coupons so it will be a grand total for both movies of $28.

Target is also the best on the price of each individually so far.  I will edit the post if I find another store has them cheaper next week.

Target Heart monitors/fitness watches 50% off

I had to go to Target today (got grass seed half off!) and I saw that they had further reduced several of their heart monitor watches.  There was one that is pink and proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation that monitors not only you heart rate but also your calories burned, time and date as well.  I think it may have also had a pedometer too.  It was marked down from $52 to $27.  They had other styles too (they were just little more pricey but had more features).  If you are in the market for a fitness watch, you might want to check these out.  (And soon) Here is the link to the pink Heart monitor on Amazon so you can see the features.  As you can see, its more expensive on Amazon.

Britax Roundabout Car Seats $100 at Target online (or in stores)

Target has their Britax Roundabout car seats (styles Ashton and Kathryn) on sale for $100.  These are normally $160 at Target so this is a decent deal (especially for Britax seats).  There should be free shipping when you order online. School Supplies 50% off at Target (and other clearance items)

I just got back from my bargain hunting at Target and I saw that the school supplies are mostly 50% off (Filler Paper and Notebooks seem to be stuck at 30% for some reason).  Backpacks, lunch boxes/bags and thermoses haven't started on their clearance path yet but if you are still in need of pens, pencils, folders, etc., you can pick them up at a decent deal right now at Target.  And keep an eye out-they will drop further to 75% off.
I also noticed that pools are 50% off (as well as most "pool related" items).  There were several kids books for 75% off too.  I picked up a Kumon Counting Coins book for $1.73 and a Dress Up Dolls Book for $1.48.  There are several Yankee Candles on clearance, most at 50% but I pick up one candle for 75% off as well as a Yankee Candle Plug-in Home Fragrance Unit for 75% off ($3.24).  Lots of bargains!  And if you aren't familiar with where to locate most clearance items in Target, check the end caps.  (It's called Perimeter Perusing!)
